Active Professional Artist for 37 years. Active mentor, educator, lecturer and coach to elementary, middle, high school and college students for over 28 years. Specialist in art competitions and portfolio preparation for colleges of art and design requirements. Coaching the business of being a professional artist through studio practice and high school mentoring. Living though, and actively thriving during a racial, political and viral pandemic. Creating art as resilience and rebellious continuation to life as a witness through the eyes of a Black Woman in this Country.

October 1995 - Present Studio Assistant Instructor Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Currently Re‑Deployed to answer questions about the collection in the museum and to guide visitors through safely during the pandemic. I have studied the collection closely and have taught African American Art History at Oakland University. I have lectured on Harlem Renaissance period and Women in the arts for over 20 years.
